Immediately my heart answered her question, yet while so, I have answer it in a material form, a form where everyone can see and read what my answer is. For a few days I been weighing my options, to answer, ‘yes’ and post an article about factious essay exaggerating that I can, or to rant to my heart’s desire how apathetic my feeling is towards the field of entrepreneur.
Well, I just said it. The answer is NOT REALLY.
I guess if I chose to ignore my conscience, I would have to write a form six form of typical essay and list down those qualities that I have in me to be the successful entrepreneur.
It’s not that I don’t have the quality, in fact everyone can be an entrepreneur even a successful one, it’s just that whether you want to successful or not and like the initial question, ‘Do you have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur?’
Everyone has the chance, the opportunity and the time. Everyone is equal in that sense, but luck isn’t, yet I’m not going to elaborate about it. What matters is that whether you are willing or not to began it and to see it to the end and even if it did not end well, at least you gain one more quality that some have some doesn’t: Experience.
Anyway, back to what I really wanted to say was that, despite that I (and some others) have what it takes; we aren’t interested in being one, let alone a successful one.
Narrow-minded?
Maybe.
Coward?
Maybe.
Pathetic?
Now that’s a bit over-described.
There are many reasons, but mine is solely I’m not interested in dividing my time into thinking business stuffs, I prefer putting such time into thinking about understanding how an art being expressed, and how human cognition and perception recognized and processed it, that is why I chose multimedia course, not IT, not business, not law. I’m interested catching human feelings and emotion, using a medium to let human replicate the same emotion like movies, short stories, comics and etc.
Everyone has their own interest in something. Some say we have to learn to like what we do; others say we like to do what we like. I’m a supporter of the latter. What can I say?
That’s what defined me.
p.s. I’m just being honest and not trying to write a hypocrite’s essay to please my lecturer who will be reading this sooner or later.
